On Demand Safety was founded two years ago with one simple goal, making college campuses a safer place. The team at On Demand Safety has worked with Intrigo since their inception to create their branding, identity, and technical strategy.

The project remains ongoing as On Demand Safety continues to acquire new partners and investments. The systems are designed to give emergency authorities the most important information in the quickest amount of time. Back-end systems include three main functions. The first being detailed student profiles to provide authorities with pictures and descriptions so endangered students can be quickly recognized and assisted. The next tool is a mobile application designed for the iPhone that utilizes the positioning system built into the phone so that emergency authorities are notified of the specific location of the endangered student. The third, the HALO device, is a CDMA GPS hybrid device designed to fit on a keychain that instantly notifies authorities of position. These systems were carefully designed by Intrigo to be highly secure, and only active when the student activates them.
